Disney VoluntEARS & the Issaquah Schools Foundation: Creating Brighter Beginnings Together

At Disney, we believe every great story begins with possibility—and every child deserves the opportunity to write their own. This Back-to-School season, Disney VoluntEARS are proud to join forces with the Issaquah Schools Foundation to help local students start the school year equipped, confident, and ready to shine. Through this virtual donation drive, you can make an immediate impact by purchasing school supplies and backpacks that will be shipped directly to students who need them most. Prefer to give in person? Bring new Disney or Pixar–branded items to the collection bin at reception and help spread a little Disney magic throughout our community. Every fall, the Tools4School program provides nearly 1,000 new backpacks and school supply kits to students from Pre-K through 12th grade, ensuring they walk into their classrooms with the tools they need to learn, dream, and thrive. Behind every backpack is a student with unlimited potential. Today, 1 in 3 schools in the Issaquah School District qualifies for funding that supports students from low-income families. Since 2021, the number of families qualifying for Free and Reduced Lunch has grown by 58%, and many more continue to navigate financial challenges brought on by rising living costs and unemployment. Together, we have the opportunity to help every student begin the school year with confidence, dignity, and hope.
